VIRTUAL ART CLASSES

There are a wide range of creative sessions that keep your team entertained and connected from home with virtual creativity and wellbeing experiences. Material packs are delivered to each employee at home so they’ll have everything they need to take part in the virtual creative team-building sessions.

The below virtual art inspired employee wellbeing and team building workshops are designed to connect and inspire your team. Material kits are delivered to each employee and offer virtual teaching

sessions via Zoom, Google Meet or MS Teams.

Standard sessions are 1.5hrs, however we can arrange them to be 1hr or 2hrs on request.

The supplier requires at least 2 week's notice ahead of your preferred date.

VIRTUAL WATERCOLOUR PAINTING WORKSHOP

Watercolour painting is one of the most relaxing and calming art forms, as you get the chance to work with colours and express yourself in a therapeutic and gentle way. This beginner level session will develop your confidence and you'll learn the best way to explore your subjects, use your materials and find inspiration wherever you go.

Using two types of watercolour paints, Hackney Art's artist teacher will guide you in using your materials to get the best results and to express the mood and style you wish to create. You'll learn all you need to continue this soothing art form and carry the practice on in your own time whenever you need to unwind.

VIRTUAL DRAWING BEGINNER WORKSHOP

Hackney Art's beginner’s introduction to drawing teaches you everything you need to take your first steps in learning to draw. They focus on the process and state of mind when drawing, making it a relaxing and therapeutic activity, rather than focussing too much on the end result. Students will be guided by a professional artist learning many tips and techniques including how to use all of the materials to their full potential.

In this session you'll learn how to draw based on a mixture of reference images and real life objects in your home. Hackney Arts will work with you to choose a bespoke theme in advance such as botanical drawing, self portraits, life drawing or a seasonal theme, choosing what feels right for your group.

VIRTUAL ABSTRACT PAINTING WORKSHOP

Our beginner level virtual abstract painting workshop is designed to transport you into a tranquil state of mind. This comprehensive lesson will develop skills in even complete beginners, as our artist teacher gives inspirational advice, technical assistance, conceptual guidance and a full understanding of how to use your materials to the best effect.

Using a full range of materials and two canvasses, you’ll be taught how to express yourself and create your own painting style, helping to encourage your artistic endeavours, whatever skill level you’re at and guide you in this free-flowing, therapeutic creative session.

VIRTUAL TIE-DYE WORKSHOP

Learning to tie-dye is a fun way to breathe new life into old clothes and create colourful new ones. It's also a great way to upcycle your clothes which is better for the environment than buying new. In this session you'll learn tying techniques to enable you to create different designs and patterns, then you'll learn how to apply the dye to create your perfect finished look.

In this session each person will make their own t-shirt and pair of socks at home (sizes ordered in advance), and your kit will have extra dye in case you want to dye any of your existing items during the session.
